Yana Shumate, CMT

Yana is a graduate of Twin Lakes College of Healing Arts & Monterey Peninsula College & has been practicing massage since 2008. She believes that receiving massage can help nourish our body, mind & spirit connection, which in return can benefit our relationship with ourselves & everyone around us.

Yana’s focus is relieving the body of tension while creating a safe and nurturing environment. She loves intuitively incorporating a mix of modalities including Swedish, hot stone, stretching, deep tissue & energy work. She prefers to give full-body massages while focusing on any areas of the body that are in need of extra TLC.

Marie Smith, CMT

Marie Smith has been practicing the art of massage therapy since graduating from Cypress Health. Massage became a genuine interest during her healing journey that began from a young age when she was suffering from lordosis and scoliosis. She understands the subtle complexities that arise in a body and how to offer a safe and nurturing session to allow her clients to unravel their nervous systems to recalibrate.

Incorporating her knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and myofascial release therapy, her massages often blend oil and non-oil techniques such as trigger point therapy, positional release technique, Chinese foot massage and Swedish. Her goal for the end of each session is for clients to walk away feeling balanced, refreshed, and in a deeper connection to their bodies.

Melanie Parrish, CMT

Melanie has a diverse background in Dance, Photography, Massage and the study of Energy Medicine.

She has been a licensed Medical Massage therapist since 1993. Melanie is passionate about helping people reconnect with their body, mind and soul.

Melanie uses the experience she gained as a trained dancer and the eye she got from studying photography to aid her in helping her clients.

She has a BA in Dance from SJSU, and she studied at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, a four year Energy Medicine school. She is a Hellerwork practitioner, a form of Structural bodywork. And she has trained in Lymph, Swedish, Deep tissue and is a Reiki Master.

Aislyn Weinfeld, CMT

Aislyn comes from a lineage of healers and has been studying and practicing the healing arts her entire life. In 1981, at the age of seven, she learned to feel aura energy and began to practice therapeutic touch under the guidance and instruction of her mother. As a teenager she studied chakra energy balancing and Reiki, and became the youngest person ever to be initiated into the highest degree of Reiki by her teacher, well-known author and healer, Diane Stein.

In 2005 she graduated ‘magna cum laude’ from UC Berkeley and received her massage certification from Twin Lakes School of massage in Santa Cruz. She continues to study new massage modalities and is a life-long learner. Her massage style ranges from Swedish to Deep, adapting depth and pressure to the needs of the individual client, while integrating the long, flowing strokes of Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian temple massage) for a truly blissful experience!

Her compassionate and intuitive nature, and her appreciation for the body-mind-spirit connection, creates a safe haven for clients to relax deeply and be supported in their process of healing and rejuvenation.

Jaclyn Evans, CMT

Jaclyn started her bodywork training in 2008 attending schools in San Diego, Santa Cruz and Grass Valley. Her specialty is to give both a relaxing yet deep massage session tailored to the specific needs of each client with a primary focus on pain relief and restoration to the nervous system. Jaclyn also specializes in craniosacral therapy and will incorporate her eclectic knowledge as well as intuitive touch and heart centered listening to each unique individual that the universe has brought to her treatment table.

Bronson Davidson, CMT

Bronson completed the Neuromuscular Program at the National Holistic Institute in San Jose, and has been practicing massage since 2020. He is a firm believer that muscles hold memory and he loves learning each person's story to better inform his healing approach.

During a session with Bronson, clients can expect an open line of communication in order to hone in on the therapy they are needing. He uses a combination of breath work and Swedish massage to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, the system activated when we are most relaxed. Once the client's body is prepared for deeper work, he incorporates Deep tissue massage, Trigger Point therapy, Myofascial Therapy (MFT), Cross fiber and Thai massage.

Bronson is passionate about wellness and self care routines. When he isn’t massaging he enjoys hiking, adventuring, spending quality time with loved ones and engaging deeply with the natural world

Brandon Brewer, CMT

Brandon is a licensed massage therapist who completed the 800-hour core program at the National Holistic Institute, where he honed his craft. He views massage and bodywork as essential components of health and wellbeing. As highlighted in The Body Keeps the Score, our experiences are stored as memory within the fascia. Brandon works with this understanding, using bodywork as a tool to help clients become more present and aware of these somatic memories, supporting relaxation and healing.

Brandon’s personal journey began in 2018 when he started releasing stored trauma and transforming unhealthy behaviors through meditation, yoga, and somatic therapy. This deepened his understanding of the connection between physical, emotional, and spiritual health, informing his unique approach to bodywork. Justin Burk, CMT

Justin is passionate about bodywork and was drawn to the healing power of touch at an early age, realizing the ability of massage to relax and relieve pain caused by excessive stress and muscular tension in the body, facilitating a more harmonious balance between mind, body, and spirit in the process.

He graduated with honors from the Finger Lakes School Of Massage in Ithaca, New York in 2012 which offers one of the highest levels of education and experience in the country.

Rachael has been working in the healing arts for 22 years as a registered nurse and added massage therapy to her practice in 2022. Creating a safe, nurturing and accepting environment to facilitate healing and relaxation is a top priority for her. She is passionate about helping others heal through the power of touch. Her skills include deep tissue, Swedish massage, craniosacral and polarity. Her technique is fluid. She also has her B.S in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University. Her specialties are connective tissue treatments with a blend of deep healing & nurturing modalities. Her goal is to focus on your specific needs and outcomes for your session and to provide you with a sacred space during your healing time.

Sarah received her B.S. in Kinesiology at Azusa Pacific University while competing on their swim team. Having a passion for sports and human movement led to her receiving her CMT license from Cypress Health Institute. Her goal in massage is to intuitively listen to the client's every need to help facilitate the body's own healing and relaxation. She loves to create a safe and compassionate space for everyone to help them relax and release any tension they hold. Outside of massage, she loves to surf, swim, hike, play piano, stay active, and spend time with family and friends.
